Diet is the primary health concern for many individuals in all races regardless of color, age, nationality, and sex; investing in health is always one of the necessities. A healthy condition is determined by the physical, mental, and social well-being of the person throughout the years. It does not only imply the absence of diseases but it means that you can perform multilevel of tasks without suffering from any illnesses.



After all the holidays we have gone through starting from the Hari raya, Chinese new year, Raya haji, Kenduri kahwin, until New Year, our stomach might finally lurch right now. Gaining few inches around your waistline or noticing that your belly is getting more “well-rounded” after a few weeks are just one of the common results after the holidays. Worse, you are eating more than what you are eating before. In the long run, your health condition will suffer.



Here are some tips on cutting some inches off your waist and stomach. The health benefit is a slimmer you. These simple health and fitness diet plans are:

• Increase your intake of veggies. Eat plenty of leafy green vegetables, cabbages, lettuce, onions, spinach, and tomatoes. If you do not like the taste, you can be inventive by stashing them in soups, sauces, burger patties, meatloaves, and stews. They are low-calorie, high capacity and high satisfaction food. Make this a habit on your to-do list so that you are constantly reminded on what to eat.

• Stow away dry foods. Dry foods like chips and crackers lack water and have a lot of calories. If you do not want to go obese that fast, then do not give them a chance to get into your system. Limit your intake though if you are really craving for it but never let your cravings ruin your diet.

• Drink more water rather than drinking sodas or artificial beverages, drink more water instead. Lifetime health and fitness experts suggest intake of more water than other artificial beverages to cleanse your body.

• Eat more fibers. Fibers in wholegrains or other fibrous foods make you less hungry. They cleanse your body and they do not have more fats. Wholegrain goodness never goes out of fad for a healthy body.
